Overview & Features
- Mould, mildew, weather and UV resistant.
- VOC below 50 g/L as stated by the current manufacturer.
- Gun-applied, low-sag and non-slump formulation.
- Not a waterproofing membrane and not suitable for exposed joints in fully immersed applications.
Application Guide
- 1. Ensure surfaces and joints are clean, dry and free of dirt, grease, oil, water, excess adhesive and grout.
- 2. Rake joints where required to achieve a uniform joint depth.
- 3. Wipe lightly contaminated non-porous surfaces with isopropyl alcohol using a clean lint-free cloth, then dry with a separate clean cloth; do not allow the alcohol to dry on the surface.
- 4. Cut the nozzle at 45° to the required bead width and apply with a sealant gun.
- 5. Tool the sealant within 10 minutes using a suitable tool and soapy water.
- 6. Remove masking tape before the sealant skins.
- 7. Do not apply below 5°C, above 27°C, or in hot and windy conditions.
- 8. Remove uncured silicone with a wet cloth and detergent; cured silicone requires mechanical removal.
