ACTFLEX Superprime 008 is a fast-drying, solvent-based polyurethane primer formulated to improve adhesion on non-porous substrates before compatible one-component MS sealants and water-based waterproofing or adhesive products. It is suitable for clean, dry metals, glass, ceramics and dense concrete, with applications including wet areas, balconies, façade and cladding details, tiling work and construction joints. The moisture-reactive primer is applied as one thin, even film by brush, felt, foam applicator, roller or lint-free cloth and typically dries in 5–15 minutes. It is supplied in a 1 L aluminium bottle and may be applied between 5°C and 35°C. Do not apply to wet surfaces, over-apply, dilute or mix the product, and provide UV protection on transparent or translucent substrates.
  • Improves adhesion on smooth, non-porous substrates before compatible sealants and water-based products.
  • Reaches a tack-free state in 3–5 minutes at 23°C to reduce preparation delays.
  • Forms a thin, moisture-reactive polyurethane bonding film.

  • 1. Confirm compatibility with the substrate and subsequent product; complete a patch test.
  • 2. Ensure the substrate is clean, dry and free from dust, grease, oil and other contaminants. Allow any cleaning solvent to dry completely.
  • 3. Shake or stir the primer before use.
  • 4. Apply one thin, even coat with a clean brush, roller, felt or foam applicator, or lint-free cloth. Avoid over-application.
  • 5. Allow the primer to dry fully, typically 5–15 minutes depending on temperature and humidity.
  • 6. Apply the compatible one-component MS sealant or water-based product after the primer has fully dried and within the manufacturer's recommended open time.
  • 7. Reseal the container immediately after use. Do not dilute, mix, or apply to wet surfaces or in high humidity. Provide UV protection on transparent or translucent substrates.
  • Clear solvent-based polyurethane solution supplied in a 1 L aluminium bottle. Density approximately 0.9 g/cm³; solids content 30%; tack-free in 3–5 minutes at 23°C; typical full drying time 5–15 minutes; application temperature 5–35°C.
