Application Guide
- 1. Confirm that model LC100C, compatible 100mm PVC drainage and the selected Allproof floor waste grate suit the project detail.
- 2. Set out the penetration and prepare the floor substrate so the 218mm flange can be recessed and finish flush with the membrane substrate.
- 3. Dry-fit the flange and verify pipe alignment, finished floor build-up, grate position and drainage falls before permanent installation.
- 4. Connect and secure the flange to the 100mm PVC drainage system in accordance with the plumbing design and applicable product installation requirements. Do not distort the flange.
- 5. Retain the supplied construction cap while surrounding building work is completed to prevent debris entering the drainage system.
- 6. Before waterproofing, ensure the flange is secure, clean, dry and free from dust, contaminants and surface damage.
- 7. Prepare or prime the PVC membrane-bonding surface only as specified by the selected waterproofing membrane manufacturer.
- 8. Apply the compatible waterproofing membrane continuously onto the flange bonding area. Install any required bond breaker or reinforcement strictly in accordance with the membrane system specification.
- 9. Keep the central opening, locating lugs and sub-tile drainage path free from membrane build-up, adhesive, screed and debris.
- 10. Fit the compatible grate assembly and confirm the finished tiled surface drains correctly without obstructing subsurface drainage.
