ARDEX WA 98 S is a solvent designed for thinning and reactivating ARDEX WA 98 contact adhesive during sheet membrane installations. It is primarily used where installers need to adjust adhesive viscosity for spray application or restore tack in partially dried adhesive during membrane placement.

It is also commonly used on site for cleaning tools, rollers and equipment used with WA 98 adhesive systems. The solvent evaporates rapidly and should be used in well-ventilated conditions when working with sheet waterproofing membranes such as ARDEX Weldtec and Butynol systems. According to the SDS, the product is a clear, highly flammable liquid and must be handled with appropriate safety precautions.
