ARDEX WPM 300 is a two-component, water-based epoxy moisture barrier designed to control rising damp, water vapour transmission, and hydrostatic moisture pressure in concrete and masonry substrates. It is suitable for use on damp surfaces and green concrete, making it a reliable solution where moisture levels exceed acceptable limits prior to flooring, waterproofing, or coating systems.
The product can be applied as a primer, moisture barrier, or negative-side waterproofing coating, with two coats providing a low water vapour transmission rate suitable for compliance with relevant Australian Standards for damp substrates. When installed correctly, ARDEX WPM 300 helps prevent efflorescence, adhesive failure, and membrane delamination caused by residual moisture.
ARDEX WPM 300 is compliant with AS/NZS 4020 for potable drinking water and is suitable for use in tanking and containment applications. It is commonly specified beneath ARDEX liquid-applied membranes, levelling compounds, tile adhesives, and floor finishes where moisture management is critical.
