Overview & Features

Application Guide
- 1. Confirm the crack is static and the repair area is completely dry.
- 2. Remove dust, laitance, grease, wax, oil and all loose or unsound material.
- 3. Mechanically roughen smooth surfaces using suitable grinding, abrasion or profiling equipment.
- 4. Keep the cartridge upright, shake for one minute and allow it to stand upright for a further minute.
- 5. Install the cartridge into the Forspec Heavy Duty Dual Cartridge Gun and remove the cap and plug.
- 6. Dispense into a waste container until both components flow evenly.
- 7. Fit the flow-control port and static mixing nozzle, then slowly dispense through the nozzle.
- 8. Gravity feed horizontal cracks, allowing the epoxy to penetrate before topping up as required.
- 9. Use backer rod or clean dry sand where necessary to control material loss.
- 10. Maintain a minimum adhesive depth of 12 mm where applicable.
- 11. Allow 24 hours for full cure before loading or returning the repair to service.
- 12. Clean equipment immediately with a suitable mild solvent. Cured epoxy requires mechanical removal.
