    Lift out the removable grate or tile insert.

    Confirm the correct size

    Check the measured drain opening against the verified fit data.

    Push MAGdrain into position

    Seat the correctly sized MAGdrain securely in the drain opening.

    Refit the grate

    Replace the grate or tile insert above the fitted MAGdrain.

Why does my drain smell even after cleaning?
Most odours come from sewer gases, not surface dirt. Traditional traps rely on water, which can evaporate in low-use areas, allowing smells to return.
Where can the MAGdrain smell stopper be used?
Suitable for bathrooms, showers, balconies, laundries, basements, and commercial wet areas. It performs in both high-use and low-use drains, with added benefit in areas prone to evaporation or odour issues.
Will it restrict water flow?
No. The internal valve opens during drainage and allows high flow rates. It uses a magnetic mechanism rather than springs, reducing moving parts and maintaining consistent operation without causing ponding when correctly sized and installed.
