Mapei Mapecoat TNS Primer EPW is a solvent-free, two-component epoxy primer in water dispersion for compatible acrylic and polyurethane resin coatings, including products in the Mapecoat TNS range. It promotes adhesion on prepared cementitious surfaces, worn asphalt, existing resin, PVC, linoleum and suitable prefabricated rubber mats. Cementitious substrates may have up to 3% residual humidity, but must not be subject to rising damp.

Mix the complete 10 kg kit at A:B 1:4, then dilute the mixed product with water at 1:0.5 as directed in the TDS. Apply evenly by roller, spray or rubber squeegee; consumption is approximately 0.1–0.2 kg/m² of diluted product on a homogeneous substrate. Allow to dry before coating, typically 5–6 hours at 23°C and 50% RH, and apply the coating within 24 hours. Protect from water for at least 24 hours.

Solvent-free, two-component epoxy primer in water dispersion. Mix A:B 1:4 by weight and dilute mixed product with water at 1:0.5. Application temperature +8°C to +35°C; substrate at least 3°C above dew point.

Adhesion primer for Mapecoat TNS coatings and specified acrylic or polyurethane resin systems on prepared cementitious substrates, worn asphalt, existing resin, PVC, linoleum and prefabricated rubber sports surfaces. Cementitious substrate residual humidity must not exceed 3%; do not use with rising damp.

10 kg kit: A 2 kg + B 8 kg. Mix A:B 1:4; dilute mixed product with water at 1:0.5. Beige mixed colour. Pot life 40–50 min at 23°C/50% RH. Typical wait before topcoat 5–6 h at 23°C/50% RH; topcoat within 24 h. Apply at +8°C to +35°C; protect from water for 24 h. Consumption 0.1–0.2 kg/m² of diluted product on a homogeneous substrate. Store 12 months in original packaging, dry, at minimum +5°C.
