Mapei Mapefer 1K is a one-component, cementitious anti-corrosion mortar designed to protect steel reinforcement in concrete repairs. It provides both a corrosion-inhibiting barrier and a bonding bridge between the reinforcing steel and repair mortar.
Formulated with polymer-modified binders and corrosion inhibitors, Mapefer 1K forms a durable, impermeable coating that prevents rust and chloride attack. The product meets the performance expectations of AS 3600 – Concrete Structures for reinforcement protection and is suitable for use with Mapei’s Mapegrout structural repair systems.
