Mapei Mapelastic AquaDefense Zero is a ready-to-use, fast-drying, flexible liquid membrane designed for waterproofing interior and exterior surfaces before tiling. Formulated with advanced synthetic resins in water dispersion, it provides rapid drying, strong adhesion, and reliable crack-bridging performance.

This solvent-free membrane offers long-term durability and superior workability on a wide range of substrates, including concrete, screeds, renders, and existing tile surfaces. It is ideal for use in wet areas such as bathrooms, laundries, and showers, as well as external balconies and terraces exposed to intermittent moisture.

As part of Mapei’s Zero range, AquaDefense Zero is carbon-neutral — its life-cycle emissions are fully offset through certified environmental projects, contributing to sustainable construction practices without compromising performance.

• Pot life: ready to use (no mixing required)
• Drying time between coats: approx. 1 hour
• Drying time before tiling: 3–4 hours
