Mapei Planiseal MR is a two-component, water-based epoxy primer and moisture barrier engineered for use on green concrete, damp substrates, and mineral-based surfaces. It provides superior adhesion, moisture control, and hydrostatic pressure resistance, forming a durable, low-permeability coating suitable for both internal and external environments.
Ideal as a primer beneath waterproofing membranes, levelling compounds, coatings, or adhesives, Planiseal MR allows faster project turnaround by enabling early application over damp concrete. Once cured, it delivers a hard, non-tacky finish and excellent protection against moisture vapour transmission and efflorescence, ensuring long-term substrate integrity.
