Mapei Planitop Smooth & Repair R4 is a high-performance, structural, fibre-reinforced repair mortar designed for rapid concrete restoration and smoothing. This one-component, thixotropic, shrinkage-compensated mortar delivers outstanding mechanical strength, durability, and adhesion for vertical, horizontal, and overhead applications.

Engineered for structural repairs and surface refinishing, Planitop Smooth & Repair R4 is suitable for use on concrete beams, columns, balconies, and precast panels. It’s resistant to carbonation and water ingress, safe for potable water environments, and certified to EN 1504-3 as an R4-class structural repair mortar.

• High compressive strength up to 50 MPa
• Rapid setting and shrinkage-compensated
• Excellent adhesion to concrete and reinforcement steel
• Impermeable to water and resistant to carbonation
• Suitable for vertical, horizontal, and overhead repairs
• Certified for use with potable water (AS/NZS 4020:2018)
• Very low VOC emissions (EMICODE EC1 Plus)

• Concrete restoration in civil, commercial, and industrial structures
• Repairs to concrete damaged by corrosion or carbonation
