Mapei Plastimul is a solvent-free bitumen emulsion designed for general-purpose waterproofing of foundations, retaining walls, and below-ground structures. Its thixotropic paste consistency makes it easy to apply on both vertical and sloping surfaces, forming a seamless, flexible, and durable waterproof barrier once cured.
When fully dry, Plastimul creates a plastic waterproof coating resistant to re-emulsification, aggressive soil agents, and immersion in slightly acidic or alkaline water. Ideal for waterproofing masonry, concrete, and underground structures, it meets the requirements of EN 15814 for polymer-modified bituminous thick coatings.
