Mapei Primer 3296 is a water-based acrylic primer designed to consolidate and strengthen weak, dusty, or crumbling surfaces. It improves surface cohesion and acts as an adhesion promoter before applying

  • Suitable for internal and external use
  • Can be applied undiluted or diluted 1:1–1:2 with water
  • Fast drying (ready for next application in 12–24 hours)
  • Compatible with Mapei waterproofing and restoration systems
  • Composition: Acrylic polymer in water dispersion
  • Appearance: Fluid liquid (opalescent)
  • Specific Gravity: 1.01 kg/L
  • Solids Content: 15%
  • Viscosity: 20 mPa·s (Brookfield #1, 10 rpm)
  • Application Temperature: +5°C to +35°C
  • Drying Time: Approx. 24 hours
  • Consumption: 0.1–0.5 kg/m² depending on substrate absorbency
