Peneseal Pro RTU is a ready-to-use, spray-applied reactive penetrating sealer for exposed concrete. It reacts within the substrate to form a sub-surface gel that seals pores, capillaries and existing hairline

  • 1. Route out and repair honeycombs, voids and other surface damage with an appropriate repair mortar.
  • 2. Confirm the concrete is at least 14 days old; 28 days is recommended. The surface must be clean, dust-free and dry, with formwork oils, curing compounds and previous treatments removed.
  • 3. Apply only between 5°C and 35°C. Do not apply when rain is imminent or in heavy wind.
  • 4. Flood cracks with undiluted Peneseal Pro RTU at approximately 1 L per 5 lineal metres.
  • 5. Apply undiluted product to the full surface by low-pressure spray at 1 L per 4–6 m².
  • 6. When dry to touch, normally 2–6 hours, flood the surface with abundant water.
  • 7. Flood again 24 hours later, then complete a third flooding after another 24 hours.
  • 8. After the third flooding, pond testing may be undertaken to verify waterproofing performance.
