Duram Primeseal MC is a two-part water-based epoxy barrier coating designed to waterproof, seal and prime damp or green concrete substrates. The system forms a hydrostatic pressure resistant waterproof barrier capable of withstanding up to 25 metres head of water, making it suitable for basements, retaining walls, lift pits and other below-ground structures.
Primeseal MC is commonly used as both a primary waterproof barrier on rigid substrates and as a primer for subsequent waterproofing membranes, coatings and adhesives. The coating adheres strongly to a wide range of substrates and can be applied to damp surfaces or newly hardened concrete where traditional waterproofing systems may struggle to bond effectively.
