Puddle Pro 100mm Retrofit Puddle Flange is an Australian-designed ABS waterproofing flange used to create a secure membrane termination around 100mm floor waste pipe penetrations in concrete floors. Designed for
  • Creates a defined ABS bonding interface between 100mm drainage pipework and the waterproofing membrane.
  • Recessed retrofit installation prevents the flange from standing proud and obstructing drainage falls.
  • The formed 12% fall directs incidental water towards the outlet.
Calculating estimated delivery
  • - Scored detachable inner lid is designed to assist temporary flood testing.
  • - TDS-listed compatibility with polyurethane, bitumen, PVC, TPO and EPDM membranes using the specified ACTFLEX primer.
  • - Corrosion-resistant ABS construction with a stated service temperature range of -40°C to 80°C.
  • - WaterMark certified model ABS/100-PF under certificate 080080-I01-R00 to AS 2887:1993.
  • - Retrofit installation requires a formed concrete recess so the flange does not finish proud of the drainage plane.
  • 1. Confirm the drainage location, actual 100mm pipe dimensions, required floor falls and finished build-up before cutting.
  • 2. Ensure the concrete substrate is sound, clean and free of debris, then mark the flange position.
  • 3. Form a 200mm recess using the Innovative Tools 200mm Concrete Recess Disc or another controlled method that achieves the required profile without damaging the pipe or slab.
  • 4. Dry-fit the flange. The horizontal face must not stand proud and should finish flush with the concrete drainage plane; coordinate the TDS-stated 3-4mm set-down with the project build-up.
  • 5. Apply ACTFLEX Super Bond 007 or ACTFLEX Super Prime 008 to the outside, top face and underside of the horizontal flange, then allow it to dry as specified.
  • 6. Apply a continuous bead of ACTFLEX 75FC or ACTFLEX MS PRO beneath the horizontal flange face.
  • 7. Apply suitable PVC primer and solvent cement to the flange neck and pipe connection, then centre the flange, insert it fully and hold until the connection initially sets.
  • 8. Allow the PVC connection and sealant to dry or cure for their specified periods before applying the selected waterproofing membrane.
  • 9. Integrate the membrane onto the prepared flange in accordance with the current membrane TDS without obstructing the drainage path.
  • 10. Conduct flood testing only after all system components have reached their specified cure, then remove the scored lid without damaging the completed termination.
