Overview & Features
- - 13mm-deep centre recess accepts a compatible Smart tile insert floor waste in any orientation.
- - Designed to align the tiled surface flush with the compatible tile insert waste.
- - TDS-listed compatibility with polyurethane, bitumen, PVC, TPO and EPDM membranes using the specified ACTFLEX primer.
- - Corrosion-resistant ABS construction with a stated temperature range of -40°C to 80°C.
- - WaterMark certified model ABS/90-PF under certificate 080080-I01-R00 to AS 2887:1993.
Application Guide
- 1. Confirm the actual pipe size, drainage position, screed height, tile thickness and compatible floor waste build-up before installation.
- 2. Ensure the screed or concrete substrate is sound, clean and free of debris, then mark the flange position.
- 3. Form a controlled recess large enough for the flange to fit snugly and finish flush with the substrate level.
- 4. Apply ACTFLEX Super Bond 007 or ACTFLEX Super Prime 008 to the flange and inside the pipe drainage outlet, then allow the primer to dry as specified.
- 5. Apply an appropriate primer to the screed or concrete surface selected for the substrate condition and moisture level.
- 6. Apply a continuous bead of ACTFLEX 75FC or ACTFLEX MS PRO beneath the flange and around the neck.
- 7. Centre the flange over the drainage outlet and push it fully into position until joint sealant is expressed from the sides.
- 8. Remove excess sealant and top up the flange-to-substrate junction where required. Maintain the TDS-stated 3-4mm set-down while ensuring the flange does not stand proud.
- 9. Allow the primer and sealant to dry or cure for their specified periods before integrating the selected waterproofing membrane.
- 10. Install the compatible Smart tile insert floor waste and tiled finish within the 13mm recess in accordance with the waste, adhesive and tiling system instructions so the finished levels remain flush.
