Application Guide
- 1. Confirm the substrate is sound, dry, correctly prepared and free from rising moisture; maximum substrate moisture content is 4%.
- 2. Ensure ambient conditions are within +5°C to +30°C and relative humidity does not exceed 80%. For external work, apply while temperatures are falling.
- 3. Combine Part A and Part B at 2:1 by mass or volume and mix for a minimum of two minutes.
- 4. Apply the mixed primer uniformly at approximately 5–6m²/L over CSP 2–3 surfaces or 2–3m²/L over CSP 4–5 surfaces.
- 5. Protect the freshly applied primer from damp, condensation and water for at least 24 hours.
- 6. Allow a minimum of 8 hours at 20°C or 15 hours at 10°C before overcoating.
- 7. Apply the compatible Sikalastic membrane within a maximum of 36–48 hours, depending on temperature and UV exposure.
- 8. Clean tools immediately with Sika Thinner C; remove cured material mechanically.
