Overview & Features
- - M14 mounting for standard 230mm (9 inch) angle grinders.
- - Uses a 14mm pre-drilled pilot hole to centre the cutting assembly.
- - Intended for professional use on FC sheeting only; not for concrete, stone or general grinding.
Application Guide
- 1. Switch off and unplug the grinder before fitting any kit component.
- 2. Inspect the dust-collecting guard and do not use it if damaged, cracked or deformed.
- 3. Loosen the guard attachment screws, align the guard protrusion with the bearing-box notch, rotate as directed and tighten securely.
- 4. Fit the recess disc clockwise to the grinder's M14 locking thread in accordance with the grinder manufacturer's instructions.
- 5. Mark the drainage outlet centre and pre-drill a 14mm pilot hole through the FC sheet.
- 6. Connect suitable vacuum extraction, fit the required PPE and never operate the recess disc without the dust guard.
- 7. Locate the threaded guide shaft in the pilot hole, start the grinder cautiously and recess only to the depth required for the selected flange and floor build-up.
- 8. Switch off and unplug the grinder before disassembly. Engage the spindle lock, use a 22mm open-end wrench to remove the shaft anti-clockwise, then remove the guard.
- 9. Inspect the kit regularly and discontinue use if wear, damage or defects are identified.
