EMPTY DOM REMOVE PROTECTOR
Actnow 100mm Rubber Flood Test Puddle Flange is a flexible neoprene drainage flange with an intact base for temporarily sealing a 100mm PVC drainage outlet during flood testing. It is
  • The intact base seals the drainage outlet for the TDS-specified 24-hour flood test.
  • Flexible neoprene rubber moulds to the PVC pipe for controlled drainage detailing.
  • The flange provides a membrane termination between the concrete floor and drainage outlet.
  • Compatible with most waterproofing membranes, joint sealants and MS bond breakers
  • Recessed installation provides a flush membrane transition
  • Flexible, tough, tear resistant, low odour and non-hazardous as stated in the TDS
  • 1. Allow new concrete to cure for at least 28 days, cut the PVC pipe flush with the slab, then clean and dry the substrate.
  • 2. Solvent-wipe the flange and recess it so it sits flush with the prepared substrate.
  • 3. Prime the substrate with a compatible primer. Prime the internal PVC pipe wall with ACTFLEX Superbond 007 or an approved PVC bonding agent and allow it to dry.
  • 4. Install the flange-to-substrate transition with ACTFLEX 75FC or V-Tech MS. Apply hand pressure so the sealant extrudes at least 10mm beyond the flange edge, tool off excess and allow it to cure.
  • 5. Apply the waterproofing membrane over the flange and at least 50mm down the flange wall in accordance with the membrane manufacturer’s specification.
  • 6. After the membrane has cured, flood the area with water for 24 hours before protection or screeding.
  • 7. Release the water by carefully cutting an X incision in the flange base without cutting the flange walls.
  • Material: Neoprene flexible rubber
