Application Guide
- 1. Allow new concrete to cure for at least 28 days as stated in the TDS.
- 2. Cut the 100mm PVC floor-waste pipe level and flush with the slab surface.
- 3. Remove laitance, dirt, dust and contamination, then ensure the substrate is sound, clean and dry.
- 4. Solvent-wipe the rubber flange and prime the prepared substrate with a compatible primer.
- 5. Prime the internal PVC pipe wall with ACTFLEX Super Bond 007 or an approved PVC bonding agent and allow it to dry.
- 6. Apply ACTFLEX 75FC or V-Tech MS at the flange-to-substrate transition and press the flange into place.
- 7. Ensure joint sealant extrudes at least 10mm beyond the flange edge at all points, tool off excess and allow it to cure.
- 8. Apply the waterproofing membrane over the flange and at least 50mm down the internal flange wall.
- 9. Keep the flange clear of bond breakers and wall junctions, and provide positive falls to the outlet.
