Application Guide
- Install mechanical injection packers by drilling at approximately 45° to intersect the crack around mid-depth; typical spacing is 150–250 mm depending on crack width and injection conditions. Connect the Zerk coupler, open the hose valve and operate the pump briefly. The guide notes approximately 30–40 MPa is commonly required during injection, with pressure topped up intermittently as material enters the crack. Close the hose valve only when changing between packers. After use, remove unused material and clean the pump in accordance with the injection-material requirements and the CY-1000 operating guide. The guide specifies xylene or gun wash flushing followed by engine oil for storage.
