ACTFLEX 400 Clear is a transparent, single-pack clear waterproofing membrane designed for maintenance and remedial applications where full strip-out and rebuild works are not practical. It forms a flexible, UV-stable surface membrane that seals against water ingress while maintaining the original appearance of the substrate.
The membrane can be applied to correctly prepared tiles, concrete, masonry, timber, pavers, brickwork, and terracotta surfaces. Once cured, ACTFLEX 400 Clear forms a durable, water-resistant film suitable for foot traffic and external exposure, provided positive drainage exists and ponding water is avoided.
ACTFLEX 400 Clear is commonly selected for leaking balconies, balcony leak repair, leaking showers, and shower resealing where owners require a fast, non-invasive solution without the cost and disruption of demolition. It is not a vapour barrier or a substitute for compliant waterproofing construction, but a practical maintenance option to reduce water ingress risk and extend service life.
