EMPTY DOM REMOVE PROTECTOR
Forspec Cracklock E400L is an ultra-low-viscosity structural injection epoxy for repairing fine, non-moving cracks in concrete and masonry. It is designed for pressure injection and gravity-feed filling of cracks from
  • Ultra-low viscosity assists penetration into fine cracks and internal voids.
  • Suitable for both pressure injection and horizontal gravity-feed filling.
  • Develops 80.5 MPa compressive strength for high-strength repairs.
Calculating estimated delivery
  • 100% solids and solvent-free
  • Low VOC formulation; numerical value not stated
  • Low 0.01% shrinkage on cure
  • Clear to light amber appearance
  • Suitable as an epoxy binder with aggregate
  • Rigid repair system for dormant, non-moving cracks
  • Not specified as a waterproofing membrane
  • 1. Confirm that the crack is dormant and suitable for a rigid structural epoxy. Do not use Cracklock E400L across cracks subject to movement.
  • 2. Ensure the substrate and ambient temperature are between 5°C and 35°C. Condition the cartridge as required by the TDS before use.
  • 3. Remove dust, dirt, grease, wax, oil and other contamination. Mechanically roughen smooth bonding surfaces.
  • 4. Keep the cartridge upright, shake for one minute and then allow it to stand upright for one minute.
  • 5. Insert the cartridge into the Forspec Heavy Duty Dual Cartridge Gun. Remove the cap and plug, then purge into a disposable container until resin and hardener flow evenly.
  • 6. Fit the nominated flow-control port, nozzle or static mixer and dispense slowly.
  • 7. For gravity-feed repairs, route the horizontal crack to approximately 3 mm wide and at least 1 mm deep, clean thoroughly, then fill the crack. Repeat where required.
  • 8. For port injection, bond ports at approximately 457 mm centres and cap the crack with Forspec ProBond 1100PS without blocking the ports.
  • 9. Inject from the lowest port until resin appears at the port above. Cap the completed port and continue upwards.
  • 10. Clean uncured residue from tools using a mild solvent. Cured epoxy requires mechanical removal.
