Technical and product guidance for the item you’re viewing.

  • Suitable for pump application or mechanical hand mixing
  • Approximately 4 m² per 20 kg bag at 3 mm
  • Creates a base for vinyl, carpet, timber, tiles, epoxy coatings and waterproofing membranes
  • Not suitable as a final wear surface
  • 1. Confirm the substrate is structurally sound and fully cured. Mechanically grind, shot-blast or scarify to remove laitance, curing compounds, coatings, oil, grease, sealers and weak material, leaving a clean, open-textured surface.
  • 2. Repair static cracks with the specified Forspec epoxy repair system. Treat dynamic or structural cracking to the project design and carry all control, expansion and movement joints through LEVELX and the final floor finish.
  • 3. Test substrate moisture and select ACTFLEX 300 or the ACTFLEX EP 250 moisture-control system in accordance with the current Forspec TDS and project conditions. Prime porous, dense or smooth substrates using the specified primer or slurry-bond procedure.
  • 4. For standard levelling, add one 20 kg bag to 4.4–4.8 L of clean, cool water. Mix mechanically at 400–600 rpm for 2–3 minutes, stand for 1 minute, then remix briefly. Do not exceed the stated water ratio.
  • 5. Pour onto the properly primed substrate, maintain a wet edge and spread with a gauge rake, steel trowel or stand-up spreader. Pass a spiked roller through the wet material to release entrapped air, without overworking the surface.
  • 6. Protect the fresh layer from wind, sunlight, heaters, drafts and rapid drying. The application data states a +5°C to +30°C range.
  • 7. Allow at least 4 hours at 23°C before further levelling, patching or recoating. Re-prime hardened LEVELX before additional layers. The TDS lists 8–12 hours drying and 1 day before bonding, depending on thickness and site conditions.
  • 8. In internal wet or external areas, apply the required compliant waterproofing membrane over cured LEVELX before tiles or other finishes.
  • Colour: Grey
