Gripset BRW PF Tape is a self-adhesive butyl rubber sealing band for waterproofing, flashing and construction detailing. It provides an instant seal over clean, dry and suitably prepared surfaces including
  • Provides an instant seal without waiting for drying or curing.
  • Peel-and-stick application enables efficient waterproofing and flashing detailing.
  • The flexible butyl layer accommodates vibration and substrate flexing in permitted applications.

  • 1. Confirm the surface is clean, smooth, dry, dust-free and free of residual moisture.
  • 2. Prime or seal porous dusty surfaces and degrease metals. Seal concrete containing residual moisture with Gripset P10 or E60.
  • 3. Level or smooth rough areas.
  • 4. Measure and cut the required length with scissors or a sharp knife.
  • 5. Remove the release paper, then position the tape with the fabric face exposed.
  • 6. Press firmly with a spatula, roller, sponge or cloth and remove air pockets and creases.
  • 7. For large joint runs, remove the release paper progressively while unrolling.
  • 8. Apply the compatible finish immediately if required.
  • 9. Do not use as exposed flashing, a trafficable surface or over expansion joints.
