Technical and product guidance for the item you’re viewing.

  • UV-resistant black elastomeric membrane
  • More than 300% elongation with Class III performance according to AS/NZS 4858
  • Low-VOC formulation with a stated VOC content of 250 g/L
  • Hand-applied in two coats over a suitable primer
  • Approved to AS/NZS 4654.1:2012 for external above-ground waterproofing membranes
  • 1. Confirm the substrate temperature is +5°C to +35°C, relative humidity is 20–90% and substrate moisture is no more than 5%.
  • 2. Prepare the substrate so it is clean, sound, smooth, dust-free and oil-free.
  • 3. Apply a suitable primer. Do not install Sikalastic-777 without primer; use a compatible epoxy primer on high-porosity substrates.
  • 4. Apply the first coat at not less than 0.670 L/m² on vertical surfaces or 0.8 L/m² on floors.
  • 5. Recoat after one night and within two days at the same minimum application rate.
  • 6. Achieve a minimum dry film thickness of 1.0 mm vertically or 1.2 mm on floors.
  • 7. Allow 24 hours for full cure and before light foot traffic.
  • 8. If rain occurs or the recoat interval is exceeded, follow the TDS procedure for abrasion and Sika Thinner C reactivation, or remove and reapply the coating.
